Mersey Point Kitchen Garden, Mersey Point, NS

This garden was completed for a private residence on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. The clients wanted upgrades to their existing English cottage style garden and a new kitchen garden to grow a multitude of edible and ornamental plants.

At Land Studio East, we use a holistic approach to create beautiful, sustainable, restorative landscapes. We plan and design gardens, landscapes, sites and master plans that make people feel good. Land Studio East completed a conceptual design for the project, which the clients installed themselves. LSE then assisted with planting design and installation and provided continued support throughout the 1st season.

The kitchen garden consists of raised beds in a formal composition surrounded by a 6’ high deer fence - a necessity in this area. As well, ornamental and edible plants were integrated throughout this one acre property.
